About this artist:
Born in 1943, in the Principality of Monaco, Adrien Moroni was fully encouraged by his mother, a pianist, and his father, a painter. Having studied at the Art School of Nice, he started gaining recognition as an artist early on in his career by winning the Special Prize for Painting in 1964. Later on, he was awarded the Grand Prix Award by the exhibition of the Nice Carnival. His growing success among his peers and art critics drove him to his easel in St. Paul de Vence, a region near La Colombe d’Or in France.
Post Impressionist painter, Moroni’s works are inspired by his “inborn taste for observing the environment”, where he encapsulate everyday leisurely life in the French Riviera (Côte d’Azur).
